Maintenance Engineers are found in many industries. Their responsibilities include installing and maintaining small to large equipments. They employ preventative tactics to keep machinery running, and prevent disruption of the company’s productivity levels.
They often work with a schedule, documenting changes and scheduling future maintenance times. Maintenance Engineers also complete recruitment, inventory, and inspection, performance, and costs responsibilities as well. They mentor newly hired engineers, ensure spare parts are stocked and prepare budgets for new equipment.
A Maintenance Engineer usually performs many of the following tasks:
