giving up what I love? what to do when can earn enough?
Hello jobisjobers lately I’ve been having a mid-life crisis where I feel I’m not good enough and I think it comes from my work. I am a sewing machine mechanic, I’ve always works for little clients but lately I have no work, it’s hard to pay my bills… Should I think about changing my career and start brand new. It’s not what I want but it’s taking me my whole confidence and self love to keep doing what I love. Any suggestions? Did this happen to anyone else? Thanks

London , I don’t think you should stop trying if that is you passion , it’s not easy to find what you love to do and being able to do it for a living, I know you said these past months have been hard, but instead of thinking about if you should quit think about what can you change to make things better, for example you should look for a job being an industrial sewing machine mechanic, this way you’ll always get paid at the end of the month. You’ll be hired by a nice company with thousands of sewing machines. And if you don’t like big corporations I’m sure that there are a bunch of medium/small businesses that need a nice mechanic, just ask for it and send cv’s , don’t wait for companies to ask. If you really like one send them you cv! Let me know if this works for you and good luck!Dec 20, 2017
