Event Planner
Event Planners are required to coordinate conventions, fundraisers, weddings, meetings, and other special events. They listen to clients needs and then create plans that are showed to the customers for approval. These professionals secure venues and assign appropriate employees for the event. They may work with musicians, caterers, event rental companies, venues operators, among other professionals.
Event Planners usually perform many of the following tasks:
• Dealing with service providers.
• Creating budgets.
• Organizing different events.
• Developing a theme for the event.
• Managing resources.
