Biologists are required to do researches on plants and animals, including their system of living and life span. Professionals who specialize in animals are known as zoologists and those who specialize in plants are botanists. They need to go to various places in order to gather valuable information about plants and animals regarding to what kind of food they take, reproduction, development, threats, body functions, life span, etc. They may work at colleges, schools, laboratories, museums, among other facilities.
